** NOW OPEN – Expressions of Interest Opens Monday 19th Aug at 9.00amWe are excited about a new development event aimed for our young swimmers aged 9 – 12 years. The Phoenix Foundation JX Level Up Challenge will be taking place at The Glennie School in Toowoomba on Saturday September 14th. The aim of this event is to provide a more foundational level meet aimed at all levels of swimmers (aged 9-12yrs) that will provide them racing opportunities against other swimmers in their age group at a similar categorised level. This event is being held in conjunction with the Darling Downs region this year.
The events will be made up of the 4 × 50m events as well as a number of relays. The event will also cater for 4 MC swimmers aged 15yrs and under. Swimmers will be competing against the existing JX standards with the aim to progress through the JX levels in as many events as possible. Prizes will be awarded to the most successful swimmers.
Swimming Gold Coast will be taking at least 96 swimmers to the event with 3 swimmers selected per JX category, per age group, per gender, as outlined on the attached meet flyer.
